Not One Prayer is Missed

thank you, Jesus… God bless Rebekah!!!

Rebekah Beene

I was looking at a picture showing angels at guard around a young man. It made me think of the power of prayer. Have you ever looked at the prayers of a mother?  She prays the Word over her children as she hopes fervently that they will live for Him. She’s not asking for them to be rich or famous, popular or fashionable. Oh no, a godly mother knows that her children will have everything if they are following the Lord and living in the light of His Word. Everything else will just fall into place, because God says so. “Seek ye first the Kingdom of God…”

Oh beloved, not one of your prayers has been missed by the King of the Universe. He is the ultimate prayer warrior, who traveled into Hell and took away sin’s power over us. And one day, for those who have put their trust…

The Aroma of the Word of God is So Sweet!

Amen ♥

Rebekah Beene

Blake told me he had read the whole chapter of John 3:16! (He actually read several pages of John chapters 3 and probably 4.) I got tickled but I thought yes, it is the whole chapter. John 3:16 is wonderful but verse 17 hardly gets noticed yet it is integrally a part of verse 16. In fact the entire chapter is awesome. Every word of God holds true and is needful in our lives. Every time we read the Bible to our children, with our children, and over our children the benefits just ring up. They ring up for them and for us as well. Reading the Word aloud makes a strong statement to God – we love His Word. And it makes a strong statement to the enemy – that God’s Word is in us to protect us from His lies.

I am reminded of the many times our…

A Great Article on Faith and Ebola

Amen! ♥

Rebekah Beene

The end of this article is my favorite part and I’ve posted it here:

How should we react to the threat of Ebola?

While this outbreak may have been a surprise for the world, it was not a surprise for our God. His unstoppable will continues under his inscrutable wisdom. Not one inch of the universe escapes the control of our Lord.

For those of us who believe in a sovereign God, we know we’re called to remain calm in the midst of the storm. We find confidence not only or primarily in the belief that science will control this outbreak or that we will not be affected. Rather, we hope in the Lord. As the psalmist said, “God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble” (Psalm 46:1).

Let believers be the voice of peace amid the confusion. While much of this disease is…

Introduction to Nourishing Herbal Infusions – Nettle

great medicinal herb…

These Light Footsteps

Many people have jumped on the green juice bandwagon, and for good reason — these juices are a welcome addition of vitamins, minerals, and other nourishment to our diets.  They work well at helping people to feel more energized and healthy. Unfortunately, many green juice recipes call for produce that is not always, if ever, in season in my region.

Are there other ways to get a local, sustainable, and easy punch of chlorophyll, vitamins, and minerals?

Why yes there is.  Hello lady nettle.

I remember my first encounter with nettle.  It happened as a young child when I was helping my mother to weed the garden.  I innocently pulled this ‘weed’ and soon thereafter had a nasty irritation all over my hand. Ow, nettle! She certainly has evolved an excellent defense mechanism.

Luckily, that early interaction did not deter me from learning about nettle and her many benefits.

God Will Use Your Life for His Bigger Plan

Blessings!!! ♥

Rebekah Beene

I shared recently that a friend’s daughter opened a prayer group for her addicted son’s benefit. Well, it’s only been a couple of weeks and there are nearly 4,000 members in the group! While everyone agrees to pray for Tim something bigger than that is happening. There’s an army rising up. There’s a team of foot soldiers, those who are struggling with the disease of the devil called addiction. There’s the cavalry, those who have been set free from this demonic force and are sharing God’s miraculous interventions. There’s a group of generals who are storming the gates of heaven for answers to prayer and deliverance for their loved ones. I see that God is going to do so much more for people than the mother ever realized possible. She just wanted to see her son delivered, set free and back in her loving arms. Although God’s plan includes setting her…

The Valley of Shadows

Truly a needed word in a needful time!!! God bless you, Rebekah!!! ♥

Rebekah Beene

This is one of the busiest times of year at my office. We are just done with county fair and district fair. End of year reporting is in full rush and the state fair is coming up as well. Lots of things have to be done now!  I feel burdened with getting it all done now. I feel buried beneath the have to do stuff and the other things tugging at me. Overwhelmed could be the word and worn out could be the mode. I realize that my work load is a blessing in disguise so I try to give thanks even when it’s busy busy busy.

As I was thinking about all that had to be done at work, at home and elsewhere, I heard this Scripture snippet whisper into my mind: In the valley of the shadow of…   God speaks to my heart. Life is a lot of…
